Saddened by...

Christians in the Roman Empire conerning the First Jewish War : "The Christian attitude seemed to be that the Jews had brought calamity upon themselves through thier rejection of Christ"

It makes me sad that you can plug in almost anything in the place of the word Jews.. homosexuals, tribesmen, those stinking baptists... it makes me sad and tired.. it makes me feel ashamed that this is written in a textbook that can be read by anyone and mostly by people who don't care about Jesus, but care about AIDS and acceptance and life without hate. It makes me the most sad that it's true, and that other people know, and that they see through all of our faults and the fact that we can't is why we can't reach them.
