There are currently about 100 of these little blue fluffballs hanging out in my yard right now. For some reason they also keep slamming their bodies into my windows.. and it's not like they're all that clean. I keep trying to take pictures of them, but they are too jumpy.
Today I am going to take my second End of Program test for the nursing program. I already took it once - but I guess someone had a copy of the test or something so when I thought I did really well, I guess everyone did that well.. sigh...
My experience in the Emergency Department is going really well. I am always surprised by how much people lack in education for simple problems like the flu, or their babies (yes, they won't eat if they can't breathe through their nose, just get the boogs out) - people come into the ER for everything! Then they get upset when they have to wait because the staff is having to do something silly like chest compressions or helping someone who is actively miscarrying their baby. The nurse that I'm working with is really smart, and has a lot of great information and tips for me all of the time, so I am very thankful for that. She was also a medical examiner back in the day so when we have someone die - she goes over the body with me and shows me all kinds of cool stuff that I didn't know about before, like how to tell if trauma has occurred before or after the person had died, and where the trauma came from to break a bone in a certain way. I'm learning a lot and am really enjoying my experience.
My family is coming soon! Just a couple more weeks before my little house will be busting at the seams! It should be a great time, I'm going to try to get some fishing time in with my dad - so that will be great.
Off to take my test!
